Mike; you’re clearly a fab brother and friend. I’m so sorry for your loss. Cancer is a twat and all on here will be touched by its poison at some time.
The way Chris went and how you looked after him resonated so much with me. Its identical to how my dad passed with me holding him. Word for word the same.
I wish you happiness going forward Mike. Take the lovely memories and park the shit ones. Good luck mate.

What great dignity you've given to your brother Mike......and indeed what great brothers you are for each other......that will not change because he has passed as you will know exactly what his thoughts are when life questions are asked of us as they always are and when he's laughing along with you or at you please take comfort from that.....RIP Chris your loss is a perspective I have already experienced, but when it's a great relationship like you've had with each other it is all the more poignant.......been hard to post on this because of my own experience of loss.....but sometimes good people make it necessary.
Again RIP Chris.

Thanks so much everyone. Your words and support have helped big time.
Announced on social media today and the response has been incredible, with memories, photos and an outpouring of love and support.
Seems we were doing something right!
Now it's all the official bollocks, which is already underway.

Cancer is a right bastard. Some people will know I lost my wife of over 40 years on Boxing Day 2018. I still grieve for her. Christmas can fuck it self right off. Will never celebrate that time of year again. To see your best mate dissolve into a shell is heartbreaking. I know how you are feeling at this moment.
